Daw. Turns out the Emerald city wasn't green.
So, I finished “The Wodnerful Wizard of Oz” and it turns out the green tinted glasses were the ones giving Emerald City its signature hue. Oz says so himself. It’s one of his many tricks to keep the citizens of Oz in awe.
I am seriously revolted by the trickery of the Wizard. He is a dictator that glamorizes his city to keep control over the masses. Sound familiar? Allegory...
