You know, I read Twilight and it was really terrible, but I could not help getting sucked into the love story so I finished the series. Then the movies came out and I was immediately attracted to the handsome men (Hello, Dr. Cullen!) of the film. I can’t help but allow my pubescent, unattractive, awkward, Backstreet-Boys-loving, 14 year-old-self to squeal with excitement over the book. No matter how many people want to crucify it and kill it with fire! The kids at MIT should stick to rocket science and leave the pop culture phenomenons to the bourgeoisie XD

Meanwhile, At MIT of the Day: the MIT Science Fiction Society’s review of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight consists of this photo and nothing else.
